A summary

Make Change – Easter HAF Club Overview Make Change is delighted to deliver an inclusive and engaging Easter HAF Club, hosted at Northfields Playbarn, a long-established open-access adventure playground and youth club. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and wide variety of activities, Northfields Playbarn provides a fantastic setting for children to be active, creative, and social during the Easter school holidays. Our Easter HAF Club runs daily from 12:00Pm to 4:00pm and is free for children eligible for benefits-related free school meals, with additional places offered to other families where possible. The programme creates a positive, structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow in confidence. The venue’s versatile space means we can offer a rich blend of activities. Inside, children can enjoy arts and crafts, pool table games, table tennis, board games, and gaming zones — all supervised by friendly, experienced staff. Outdoors, the adventure playground and play structures give children the opportunity to run, climb, play, and explore in fresh air. Active sessions form a core part of the day. Led by enthusiastic coaches, children will participate in inclusive sports and games such as football, basketball, multi-skills challenges, team relays, and more. These sessions are deliberately designed so that every child can join in regardless of ability, with a focus on enjoyment, teamwork, and personal development. Our aim is participation and fun first — not competition — so that every child feels proud of what they achieve. Each day includes a healthy, balanced meal provided to every participant. Mealtimes are designed to be relaxed and sociable, helping children try new foods, practise table manners, build independence, and enjoy eating together. In addition to physical and creative activities, children will take part in Easter-themed crafts, group challenges, music, and mindfulness exercises. These quieter moments ensure there’s time to reflect, unwind, and express creativity in a supportive setting. All our staff are experienced in working with young people, including those who may require additional support. We emphasise inclusion, patience, clear communication, and encouragement to ensure every child feels welcomed, supported, and valued. The Make Change Easter HAF Club at Northfields Playbarn offers children the chance to stay active, form friendships, develop confidence, and enjoy a fun and enriching holiday experience.
