A summary
We will be running a HAF Winter playscheme in Norris Green Youth Centre for children aged 5 and half to 12 years old. Priority spaces will be given to children in receipt of benefit free school meals. We will be running a range of activities both indoors and outdoors including football, dodge ball rounders, skipping, crafts, collage and face panting. We will also offer breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day. Places are limited so booking is essential. We offer support to children with additional needs depending on staff availability and ratio.

Empower & Support The Community
Norris Green Community Alliance works to empower & support the community of Norris Green in such a way that they can identify, help meet their needs and to encourage the community to work together. Putting on activities for those to access and participate. Activities such as playschemes & afterschool clubs, mental health courses such as Listening Ear Services, community events & training for volunteers, lunch clubs for over 50s, coffee mornings, men’s support group (JAM), and family events such as bingo & family roller disco. Training for volunteers e.g. first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding etc. We hold community events such as our Norris Green Carnival. We provide hardship support as well as utility support and referrals to debt advice, benefit advice etc. We work collaboratively with Fareshare as well as food social, who works towards eliminating food waste. We also work with Feeding Liverpool allowing us to support with food bags.
