A summary
The Methodist Centre delivers a play, food and activity programme during the summer, Easter, Christmas and half term holidays. The centre has 20 years' experience of managing and running play schemes and holiday clubs. We provide a safe, welcoming environment and the projects we deliver are engaging, fun and exciting. We cater for children and young people aged 7-15 years old. Our daily activity programme consists of sports, games, arts and crafts, music, cookery, trips out on a weekly basis, performing arts, quizzes and competitions and much more We provide free hot, fresh, healthy food for lunch for the children and we cater for all denominations and cultures. Children and young people attend from a wide range of diverse backgrounds to share fun experiences, and break bread together. The centre's staff team are fully qualified and highly experienced in youth and play work, food and hygiene and our facilities are modern and clean .

Friendly safe place for all young people
The Methodist Youth Centre provides a safe place, where children and young people can participate in fun, educational activities. The centre offers football, basketball, dance, arts and crafts, music, PS games, trips and residentials . Working with the community, our aim is deliver quality projects to help and support young people to put them on positive pathways to enable them to achieve their dreams and aspirations. The centre is a vibrant and welcoming place catering for people from a wide range of diverse cultures. Our passion is helping and supporting young people, creating new experiences whereby they can develop their skills and improve their social and personal development . The "Meth" as it is known provides quality activities throughout the school holidays and half terms and all year round. The centre offers day time and early evening sessions on specific days . the main time table is Monday to Friday 12-4pm 6-9pm specific days Food / Menu The food we prepare for the children looks appetising and tastes good. We will work towards Providing a balance diet introducing fruit and vegetable and the provision of non fizzy drinks is essential to our meal plans. We will be working towards school standards by following and developing our food hub which will work from food recipes designed to meets Government Buying Standards for Food & Catering Services nutrition criteria (GBSF) .Meals include chicken chow mien apple and banana cake Home made fruit cake Beef curry with rice homemade pizza with veg sauce . sweet potato and oven fries Kentucky baked chicken and much more spaghetti bolognas, fruit juice ,

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else. Parents are required to pick up their children on time ie 4pm pick up no later . inform staff of any ailments or medical conditions before starting the scheme

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
