What we'll do
Winter Party We will host a festive winter party with a special visit from Santa. Festive Arts & Crafts Children will make winter cards, tree ornaments and wreaths. Cards will be delivered to residents at a local care home to promote empathy, kindness and community spirit. Seasonal crafts such as ornament decorating and creative projects help children build imagination, fine motor skills and confidence. Free Play Zones Daily access to building blocks, puzzles, stickle bricks, jewellery making, painting, sticking and gluing, pool table and table tennis encourages creativity, social skills, problem-solving and independent choice in a relaxed setting. Physical & Active Play Obstacle Courses – Cones, hoops, beanbags and skipping ropes used to create fun challenges that develop balance, coordination and agility. Softball (Throw & Catch) – Light, non-contact games to improve throwing, catching and teamwork. Bouncy Castle Sessions – Supervised active play to build confidence, coordination and enjoyment. Festive Food Creations – Children will make fun, healthy snacks such as fruit Christmas trees or snowman wraps to show that nutritious food can be exciting. Cooking & Tasting Sessions – Hands-on preparation of simple no-cook recipes (e.g. smoothies, fruit pots), followed by tasting to encourage new foods and healthier swaps. Interactive Games & Discussions – Fun games like food bingo and sugar swaps to teach portion sizes, balanced meals and smart food choices.
