A summary
The winter programme will be fully focused around fitness and nutrition alongside rewarding activities for the young people such as cinema, ice skating, indoor educational workshops, trips and so on. The programme will consist of daily physical sessions where young people will play sports; football, badminton and Dodgeball with their peers in a safe and rewarding environment. The sports activity will alternate each day alongside fitness workouts of HITT, strength and conditioning to further enhance young peoples body and mind. The Fitness sessions at the winter programme will support young people by the qualified staff on fitness instructing to improve their fitness and wellbeing levels and provide information on nutritional advice they can use to adjust their lifestyle. The programme will empower young people by developing their personal skills and character to inspire them to engage in purposeful activities, gain confidence and better themselves. The project will support their mental well –being through peer and social interaction, and the physical activity will also bring mental health benefits -it will help to reduce weight and control diet, help with self-esteem and pride in themselves. The programme will bring enjoyment through socialising with young people diverse backgrounds within Newham, as they will have creative and interactive activities to break ice and have discussion with others. This will work towards strong, resilient and safe communities as the programme will empower young people by developing their personal skills and character to inspire them to engage in purposeful activities, gain confidence and better themselves under a safe environment. On a daily basis, we will spend 15 minutes time on nutritional education where our young people will be conversed into various topics on nutrition to create better health eating and enable them to incorporate it better in their lifestyle once winter programme is completed. On the end of each week ending, parents and guardians will be given advice and guidelines on how to identify, recognize and source nutritious good on low cost budget. Brief Training will be given once a week in groups during drop-offs and pick-ups to educate parents on recognizing the nutritional values and what elements to reduce intake as a family. This will create a greater understanding on why eating well leads to better health. They will be provided leaflets on Nutrition. The project will contribute to local cohesion among diverse communities, especially for young people who can take full part in safe and positive environment and stay away from negative and harmful environment. The winter programme will end with a celebration day for the young people to celebrate their achievement for a end of year party. A 6-day rota will be provided to parents in advance to give them a clear insight of all the activities to take place in the winter programme.

Re-engaging young people
The aims and objectives of London Jaguars Community Association are to re-engaged detached young people and target other members of the wider community back into mainstream of sports participation and promote fitness and wellbeing as the forefront. Its key aims are to work with the ethnic minority groups within the community in empowering, enabling and encouraging young people and the wider community by raising their self-esteem which make an inclusive service. Fill in sports and fitness provisions for disadvantaged and deprived members of the community. To work in partnership with primary schools, Secondary Schools and local authorities to address marginalisation and help socially excluded community members fulfil their potential. To provide recreational activities for children, young people and vulnerable adults to reinforcing a sense of identity through enhancing their physical and mental capacities and creating opportunities for them to learn about and celebrate their own culture and to respect the culture of others.
