What we'll do
This workshop explores the importance of incorporating slacklines, hammocks, and tree swings as key resources in forest school environments. These tools promote physical, emotional, and social development through nature-based play. Examples: *Slacklines encourage balance, coordination, and strength. *Hammocks provide a peaceful space for relaxation and reflection, helping children connect with nature. *Tree Swings combine physical play with sensory experiences, promoting balance, spatial awareness, and motor skills. Overall, these elements create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive learning environment that aligns with the principles of forest school education—encouraging holistic growth and a deep connection to the natural world. Our aim is to instill confidence to use this equipment in your setting. We love Hanging around and can't wait for you to join us!
