A summary
Welcome to the Final Whistle - the home of fun activity! Each day begins with a group gathering to share the day's activities and play a 'get to know you' game. There will then be plenty of fun free-play activities on offer throughout the day including ball sports, table tennis, basketball and arts and crafts, which include making festive gifts, cards and decorations. Alongside lots of fun play and games, we are excited to have two great workshops for our 'Make and Craft' activities. On Monday 22nd December, we will be hosting a 'sustainable crafts' workshop. Children will learn and make some lovely crafts using recycled materials that they may find in their home. From festive gift boxes using recycled wrapping paper, to fabric mache bowls, to tie cutting festive shapes and 3D ornaments. There will lots of ideas and inspiration for children to make and take home. On Tuesday 23rd December, our educational food workshop will provide the children with the knowledge and skills to make a tasty snack. School Caterers 'Chartwells' will be guiding children through the activity. The final product they may wish to eat or take home! Breakfast snacks and cold drinks will be available on arrival and a main meal will be provided to your child on both days. A food hamper will be given to your child on 23 December to enjoy at home on 24 and 25 December.
