What we'll do
The staff at Kiddiewinkles plan activities with the children's interests at heart, as well as supporting their developmental needs including their wellbeing. Each session involves free play where the children can partake in activities which are of interest to them, including a range of creative activities such as; painting, junk modelling and collage. In addition to this they will have access to lots of other resources including role play, small world and construction. We also deliver adult led activities which include physical activities including; traditional playground games, just dance and yoga. We lead mindful sessions whereby the children become aware of their emotions and those of others, during this time we encourage children to formulate strategies to help them self regulate. We enjoy going on trips out including, exploring local parks, nature walks and going to the cinema. Each week the children will have the opportunity to partake in real life experiences including baking, cooking and preparing their own meals and snacks. A hot meal and snacks will be provided to all.

Quality childcare in a fun environment
Kiddiewinkles is a place where children feel safe and secure whilst having fun. We encourage children to partake in a variety of activities throughout the session whilst focusing on enabling them to build positive relationships and friendships with others. Children learn to value each other as unique individuals and celebrate their differences.
Essential items you will need.
Please ensure your child is wearing clothing that are suitable for running around and getting messy, trainers are essential. The weather can be unpredictable so please ensure you have appropriate clothing including; coats and sun cream each session. Water bottles are a must however we will have cups and free access to water if you forget.

Children will have the opportunity to access a variety of fun activities each session whilst building strong relationships and friendships with others.

Children will develop an understanding of healthy life styles including the importance of physical activity and eating a healthy balanced diet.

Children will develop strategies to support their emotional wellbeing.
