What we'll do
Our Jolly Holiday Club offers a variety of things for children to do and we are flexible and dynamic in our approach, making our sessions suitable for all tastes. We often start with group games, we then have an arts or craft activity followed by free play time, which is when children can decide what they would like to do. We have dressing up costumes, puppets, board games, indoor sports activities, a sand table, a reading area and colouring and craft corner. Fruit snacks are provided mid morning and a meal is prepared by the Marina Theatre Café. We then have another group activity after lunch and finish with another game. We have special events and Crafts like Easter Egg Hunt, Bonnet Making, Mask Making, Puppet Making, Clay Modelling, Fashion Parade, Sports Day, Storytelling Workshops and More. Our vision is to create and deliver an inclusive and entertaining arts and cultural offer for the people of Lowestoft and the immediate region, putting us at the heart of the community. With our Community outreach we aim to play an active role in the lives of everyone in Lowestoft. We want to deliver classes, workshops, activities and events that are dynamic, inclusive and accessible. We'd like to enable people to interact, be creative and grow in confidence, realising their potential by being part of a thriving hub that supports the future prospects of Lowestoft as a whole.
