What we'll do
AI for Everyday Life: A Friendly Taster Course for Real People Confused by AI? You’re not alone — and this course is here to help. Whether you’re a busy parent, a working professional, or someone who’s taken a break from learning and wants to catch up — this short, practical course is designed to help you understand how AI tools like ChatGPT can make your life easier. You might have heard about AI in the news or seen others using apps to speed up their work, organise their day, or even help their kids revise. But if you’re not sure where to begin, or you feel like you’ve been left behind by all the new tech, this session is for you. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly course, you’ll be introduced to real-world ways to use AI – no jargon, no pressure, and no technical background needed. You’ll learn how to use free and simple tools to help with things like: • Getting organised at home and at work • Writing emails, CVs, or reports • Creating revision plans or homework support • Planning your week, shopping, or social media • Generating ideas and saving time on everyday tasks You’ll leave with the confidence to try new apps, the knowledge of how AI actually works for you, and practical tips to boost your productivity, creativity, and peace of mind. This is not a tech course. It’s a life skills course for people who want to feel more in control of the digital world we live in. Join us for a welcoming, hands-on session that will leave you wondering how you ever managed without it.
