A summary

This is a level 1 course in hair & beauty and is suitable for anyone wanting to develop skills to work in the sector, or to practice on themselves, family and friends. The course will cover the theory of washing blowdrying and will provide practical activities such as straight blowdrying techniques, curly blowdries, flicky, using curlers and straighteners, pin curls and basic hair ups. Learners completing all sessions successfully will be awarded a certificate of completion. Learners who are interested in enhancing their prospects by completing hair and beauty qualifications, will be able to purchase additional workshops at the end of this course. Funded by Wirral Lifelong Learning for learners who are aged 19+ and living in Wirral. Learners can be unemployed, in receipt of benefits, OR earn less than £35864.40 annual gross salary, to access the course free of charge. Please remember to bring along: Proof of ID, Address and Benefits/Earnings to be checked by the tutor at your first session
