What we'll do

Hosted at the outstanding Crown Hills Community College, Inspire Together provide high-quality physical activity, nutrition and wellbeing activities throughout the day including: - Smoothie making with our Smoothie Bike for breakfast - Coach led sport and physical activity sessions - Food tasting sessions - Quizzes and craft activities - Treasure hunts and free play - Co-created sessions with the young people We provide snacks throughout the day, a re-usable water bottle and a full lunch for children eligible on the HAF programme ... and often have additional food for families to take home at the end of the day!

We work with schools and community organisations to inspire children and young people to increase their physical activity levels each day as part of a healthy lifestyle. Our vision is that every young person enjoys being active, so they have the long-term benefits of a healthy, happy, lifestyle. Our mission is to provide health, wellbeing and physical activity opportunities to inspire the young people of Leicester and give them the knowledge they need to lead a healthier, happier future.

Additional information

Our HAF Club runs daily from 09:00AM - 14:00PM each day. All food provided is Halal. Groups will be split based on age and ability for each activity, although we are happy for sibling groups to stay together if they would prefer. We aim to run indoor and outdoor activities, weather permitting. We offer full SEND support and aim to source 1:1 staff members if required for children with complex needs from the school that they attend.

Learning aims

Aim 1

To provide education for approximately 60 active minutes a day.

Aim 2

To provide opportunity and knowledge around healthy eating, nutrition and good oral health.
