What we'll do
Young people will learn new skills in how to prepare and cook a healthy meals using the skills and experience from our Tutor. Our Tutor will provide the recipes and demonstrations. Some examples will be, stir-fry's, meatballs, chicken sweet and sour, spaghetti bolognese, French Toast, pies, pasta and desserts :-) This activity is for young people on benefit related free school meals (FSM). The venue is Freedom Church, Sidley, Bexhill. Young people should wear comfortable clothing and bring an apron. COME AND HAVE SOME FUN LEARNING HOW TO COOK!

Fresh Visions Charity
Transforming Lives and Changing Futures
Fresh Visions was founded in 2001 by a group of frontline housing workers in London. Day after day they were coming into contact with vulnerable young people on local estates who were asking for their help. Many were lonely, isolated and suffering in silence, living in chaotic households and frequently victims or witnesses of domestic abuse. With an absence of local services, they often had nowhere else to turn to. Fresh Visions was set up to fill this gap in local support. Over the last 16 years the charity has helped transform the lives of hundreds of young people every year.
Timetable
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 10 am to 2 pm. Please bring apron and plastic containers to take food home too.

To learn basic cooking skills, develop, focus and concentrate on delivering good healthy food, build self-esteem and confidence, work independently and as part of a team.
