Basic digital photography and cynotype workshop. (All ages welcome to allow younger siblings to attend and take part by completing a simplyfied version of the activity)

A basic digital photography and cyanotype workshop is usually a beginner-friendly creative session combining taking photographs digitally with making cyanotype prints—a simple photographic printing process that produces distinctive blue images.
What you might learn
- Digital photography: Basic camera or smartphone techniques such as composition and taking interesting images.
- Cyanotype: Using coated paper with light-sensitive chemicals, placing objects on it, and exposing it to UV light or sunlight.
- Developing the print: Washing the exposed paper in water to reveal the characteristic Prussian-blue image.
- Experimentation: Combining photography with leaves, flowers, objects, textures, or photographic negatives to create unique prints.
