What we'll do
We are excited to run a multi-sports holiday club for children aged 5 -16 in partnership with Edstart Liverpool. Greenbank and Edstart have a wealth of experience in organising fun, inclusive and enriching programmes for young people and their families - from after school clubs to national sporting events - we believe in pathways, choice and innovation. Please search for Edstart as provider who are coordinating Easter camps for 5-11 year olds at Greenbank Each day will be filled with a variety of sports, games, and activities, allowing kids to not only enhance their existing skills but also explore new ones. There will be a range of sports and physical activities: – football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, Boccia, wheelchair sports, cycling, walking, keep fit, inflatable football and skill based sessions. Our holiday clubs are designed to be inclusive, welcoming children with ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. In partnership with Edstart Liverpool, we'll be running our programmes every holiday period. With coaches and volunteers from both Greenbank and Edstart, our team boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience. Throughout the day, children will engage in mini-games to warm up and interact with their peers and coaches, followed by structured sports activities. After two activities, there will be a 30-minute lunch break followed by 30 minutes of free play. An opportunity for children to be creative. Children will then participate in a 3rd activity before going home. On average children will be active 3.5 hours of the 4 hour day. There will also be a chilled zone for children who need a break, need some time to themselves etc... This space will have tables, chairs and a host of board games, puzzles, arts & crafts.
