A summary
The green woodworking session, in collaboration with Finch and Anna from the Firebug team, offers a unique opportunity to learn and practice traditional woodworking skills in a supportive, small-group setting. This programme is designed for those who are interested in working with natural materials and learning the fundamentals of green woodworking, from basic skills to more advanced techniques. This green woodworking session offers a rich, hands-on learning experience in a beautiful natural setting, perfect for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of traditional crafts. Initial projects include a mallet, a rope ladder and a 3 legged stool/table. Although a grown up is initially asked to stay once children are settled this can become a drop off group.

I love being out in nature and always find myself satisfyingly tired at the end of a day in the woods. I'm keen to encourage everyone to enjoy outdoor fun and like showing parents how to facilitate individual and independent exploration giving them confidence to support their children. I enjoy incorporating my Steiner early years teaching background filled with songs, craft and story inspiration.
