What we'll do
This Festive Season we will be introducing both children and their families to the wonderful game of Golf through some fantastic festive activities; from Putting and Chipping to the Driving Range. This experience is taking place on Monday 22 December. We have 2 sessions for you to book: - Morning experience 9.30-12.30am - Afternoon experience is 12.30-3.30pm. A parent/carer is required to stay for the duration of the activity as this is a family experience. Golf is a great game that is played in and amongst nature and offers a variety of skills to play that we hope to introduce to you and your children and make life long players of the game that can be shared together for years to come. We will provide several enrichment activities which are in addition to the golf activity. We try to offer activities that can be outdoors and indoors in case of inclement weather and/or if the children have attended once already, it gives them an option to do a different activity. Please see below an example of a typical activation for a family session. Please check when booking as we are offering and AM or PM session): Morning session: 9:30am – Arrival and registration 9.40am – Team and children/families' intro and Golf ball decoration and inside games 9.50am - Warm up and Physical Golf Activities 10:50am – Snack and Fruit Platter - Create your own fruit kebab 11:00pm – Greenkeeper talk and/or Festive activity with RHS Wisley to take home 12.00pm – Festive lunch and book corner/board, putting matt and award ceremony 12.30 - Home time - thank you for coming and see you soon Afternoon session: 12:30am – Arrival, registration & lunch 13:00pm – Team and children/families' intro and Golf ball decoration and inside games 13:10pm - Warm up and Physical Golf Activities 14:10pm – Snack and Fruit Platter - Create your own fruit kebab 14:20pm – Greenkeeper talk and/or Festive activity with RHS Wisley to take home 15.30pm – Home time - thank you for coming and see you soon We hope that this is helpful and we really look forward to seeing you at Pyrford Lakes for your Get Golfing CIO Holiday Camp Want to find out more?
