The Guardian Ballers Experience Days are packed with energy and enrichment, combining Basketball, Games and Well-Being in a fun-filled atmosphere. Young participants can dive into basketball activities designed for all skill levels, ensuring everyone gets a chance to shine. Beyond the court, there’s a variety of games and activities to keep things fresh and exciting, along with a Blaze Pod Challenge that tests agility and quick thinking. Alongside the sports action, young people will gain valuable insights into nutrition and well-being, making these experience days a perfect blend of physical activity and personal growth. Join us for an active, educational and fun-filled day! 10.00 - Arrive into Main Reception for Registration and enter sports hall 10.10 - Introduction of the Day from GB Team 10.10 - 12.00 Basketball Skills and Fun Games including Blaze Pod challenges and Dance intro 12.00 - 12.30 Well-Being and Nutrition Education 12.30 - 13.00 Hot meal with GB Team Coaches 13.00 - 14.45 Basketball Matches and Challenges 14.45 - 15.00 Group Reflections and celebrating 15.00 - Participants Depart / Collected from Main Reception What to Wear and What to Bring? If you have a Guardian Ballers T-shirt, PLEASE WEAR IT! If you've never participated in a GB programme and do not have a T-shirt, we will give you one. Wear trainers and clothing to participate in Basketball and other physical activities. Please bring a water bottle which we can refill on site.

Guardian Ballers
BALL - BE - BETTER
We empower young people through engagement in Basketball [BALL] activities, education around mental-and-emotional wellbeing and identity [BE] and facilitation of practical experiences to serve local communities and charitable organisations [BETTER]. We work with young people from areas of socio-economic disadvantage, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicities backgrounds and a minimum of half of our participants are Female. We target such populations (not excluding others) to tackle disparities in mental health, physical activity and societal-leadership statistics.
