A summary
We will run a range of nature-based activities that will be engaging for children and adults. Activities will include some of the following.
Bushcraft, Bioblitz, Qi Gong, Mandala art, Forest Bathing, Falconry, Circle Facilitator, Deep Time walks,
An opportunity for adults and young people to come together to learn new skills and the benefits of nature.
Part of the session will frame the activities for the adults by mentioning the benefits for young people in different situations, just before or after the session.

All children need to be registered for this event and MUST report to the event mentor to confirm attendance. All contact information will need to be checked and parents/carers MUST be available in event of emergency. Parents/carers can remain on site if they wish to.
ALL UNDER 8's REMAIN THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENT/CARER AND MUST BE ACCOMPANIED AT ALL TIMES. IF CHILD OVER 8 THEN PARENTS CAN EITHER STAY AND JOIN IN OR RETURN AT THE END OF THE SESSION TO COLLECT CHILD. PLEASE LET MENTOR KNOW IF YOU ARE LEAVING SITE.
Parents/Carers will be expected to get young people to and from the venue. CHILDREN AGED 8+ WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO WALK HOME UNACCOMPANIED IF WE HAVE WRITTEN CONFIMRATION IN ADVANCE

Sensible, weather appropriate clothing must be worn and long hair should be tied back.
Younger siblings may also attend - please ensure you book a space separately with P&DCYPP
Food
A pack lunch will be available for all school aged children - you will be asked to confirm your lunch choices prior to the event. Pack lunch options will be offered and booked in advance
Tuck and refreshments may be available for additional cost (please bring cash)

The Children & Young People’s Partnership ensures a cohesive approach to the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people within our community by making sure that each child has access to stimulating activities and learning opportunities to support them through their transition to adulthood. The Children & Young People’s Partnership has organised activities within Pill, Easton in Gordano and Ham Green for the last 10+ years for those aged from 3-18 years and is open to all within the community. Our activities are run by a combination of professional youth workers, external providers and volunteers. The Partnership also commissions external providers to run our junior and senior youth clubs
