A summary
For ages: 7 - 16 years Drop off session Northampton Saints Foundation has been awarded funding from Milton Keynes City Council to deliver sessions for Short Breaks, which are designated for families and carers of children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. To be eligible for for this Short Break activity, the child or young person must: be between 5 and 18 years and have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). The sessions offers young people a focus during the holidays. Young people, aged between 7-16, are able to get involved in some fantastic enrichment opportunities such as multi sports, cooking, visits to the farm, Trampoline Parks, bowling and Laser tag. 3 young people:1 staff ratio Engagement through activities: Physical, social and emotional development opportunities allow young people to grow, have fun and create memorable experiences, helping them to see the positives in everyday life. Positive impact: By taking participants out of their everyday routines and engaging them in a range of activities we are able to see improvements in their confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills, providing them with essential tools to break down barriers and face life's challenges. Suitable for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Due to the limited availability of these places and to provide as many of our Short Breaks families the opportunity to access this activity, there is a limit of one family session/booking for this activity over the summer. If you are unable to attend, please cancel the session to allow the place to be accessed by another child/young person.
