A summary

Our HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme provides free multi-sport activities for children and young people during school holidays, alongside nutritious meals and enrichment opportunities. Sessions are delivered by qualified coaches and include a variety of sports, fun physical activities, teamwork games and wellbeing activities designed to keep children active, engaged and social during the holidays. The programme creates a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy positive experiences with their peers while accessing healthy food and structured holiday provision.

Apollo Active CIC is a community sports and education organisation based in North West, dedicated to providing free and accessible sport for children and young people. Through multi-sport programmes, holiday camps, school partnerships and community initiatives, Apollo Active works to increase physical activity, improve wellbeing and create positive opportunities for young people. The organisation collaborates with leading partners including Jacksonville Jaguars (JagTag), the Golf Foundation, England Athletics and the Lawn Tennis Association to deliver high-quality coaching and development pathways across multiple sports. Apollo Active’s mission is simple: to ensure every child has the opportunity to enjoy sport regardless of background or financial circumstance

About Apollo Active

Our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme provides four days of free provision during the Easter holidays, offering children and young people the opportunity to stay active, social and engaged outside of school. Sessions are delivered by qualified coaches in a safe and inclusive environment and include a range of sports and enrichment activities designed to build confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of physical activity. Apollo Active delivers a multi-sport programme including football, athletics, tennis, golf, and fun physical activity games. We work with a range of recognised sports partners to enhance the quality of delivery and opportunities available to children, including the Jacksonville Jaguars (JagTag programme), England Athletics, the Golf Foundation and the Lawn Tennis Association. Alongside sport, children receive healthy meals and enrichment opportunities, helping to support wellbeing, social development and positive holiday experiences for families in the community.
