What we'll do
Led by the team at The Lamplighters CIC, we'll be collecting natural materials such as flowers, and leaves from our surroundings and using them to create beautiful monoprints. Through print-making we will explore themes of sustainability and caring for nature. Participaiting children will have the opportunity to make a postcard, poster or banner, creating art with a purpose and a message. We'll also be making prints for our charity's upcoming 35th birthday, so there will be the opportunity to contribute towards creating art for this celebration. We'll eat a hot lunch together, and all participants will also be given a family-sized frozen meal, made by our chef, to take home. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy being outside at our stunning nature space, and play games e.g. giant Jenga and Connect 4. Please note: Due to limitations in space and resources, siblings aged 7 or under and parents are not able to attend. Please book a space for each eligible child. If you are struggling to book a space using the eequ website please email us at haf@heartofbs13.org.uk and we'll be happy to help you.
