What we'll do
Get in the Game This Christmas with Cobras SEN! Join us for a day of basketball excitement at Cobras Basketball Club! Our SEN Christmas Camp is designed for players aged 11+ who want to enjoy basketball in a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. The Cobras take immense pride in extending the joy of basketball to players with special educational needs. Our commitment to inclusivity is at the heart of our program, and we are thrilled to create an environment where everyone can actively participate and thrive in the sport. Our SENS sessions are a great opportunity for those with different needs to take part in basketball. Everyone learns the skills of basketball in a fun and friendly environment, building confidence, having fun, and making new friends. With experienced coaches, engaging activities and plenty of festive spirit, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable Christmas of basketball. Monday 23rd December 2025 / 10am - 2pm Our camp will be held at Wellington Health & Fitness Club, Duke's Ride, Crowthorne RG45 7PT. There is parking. If you feel your child will be happy and able to engage with the session, unsupported, there is no requirement to remain on site. We will call you to collect your child if we feel they are distressed or not enjoying the session, so please be aware of this and available during the session, should we need to make contact. However if you feel your child needs you either in the session (or outside in the coffee shop) you are welcome to stay. What to Bring: A packed lunch and snacks (don’t forget your water bottle to stay hydrated!) Comfortable clothing and sports shoes – no special equipment needed. If you have your own basketball or any sensory items such as ear defenders or fidgets, feel free to bring them along. Players, Parents, Guardians, Carers are all welcome to wear their best Christmas jumper or festive top for a chance to win a prize! Players can also wear holiday-themed accessories like Santa hats or reindeer headbands for some extra festive flair. Please leave full costumes and face paint at home so everyone can move safely and comfortably. Our coaches will be getting into the spirit too, with Santa hats, elf headbands and festive accessories to help make the camp even more fun. Important Notice: We are a 100% nut-free zone, so please avoid bringing any items containing nuts or sesame, such as nut-based spreads, granola bars or nutty snacks. This helps us keep the camp safe for all participants. Our team of qualified, DBS-checked coaches will guide each participant through enjoyable, structured activities, ensuring they feel supported throughout the day. We also have a pastoral staff member on-site to offer additional support when needed. Many of our campers go on to join our Saturday SEN team, and we’d love to welcome you too. Don’t miss out – we can’t wait to see you this Christmas!

Cobras Basketball Club
Basketball For All
Cobras Basketball Club was established in 2010 to provide an opportunity for young people from age 5 - 18 to enjoy basketball from regional to national competition level. Since then the club has seen great success under the guidance of the coaches and has grown to have in excess of 450 members and we have recently added three adult teams which play in the local Wessex league.
