What we'll do
*Please only book into TWO TRIP sessions. If you book into more than TWO session your FIRST TWO choices or correct bookings will be allocated to you and you will be cancelled off any other bookings* Short Breaks are offering a number family trips throughout the Summer break open to children with SEND and their immediate family ONLY. This listing includes a return ride on the cloud cable and then a session for your child in the teddy bear workshop where they will be able to take home their own bear Create your own unique teddy bear in our workshop. The workshop experience includes stuffing your bear, giving them a heart, reading them a poem, and dressing them in an outfit of your choice. Once you have taken part in the workshop families will be able to return back to Newham at their own leisure PHOTO CREDIT: TFL Lunch will also be provided for the children. Please note this is a stay and play session so all children attending need to be supervised at all times by their accompanying adults. Short Breaks Trips The trips are for families with a child with SEND only. To qualify for the sessions at least one child within your immediate family (up to 18 years old) will have special educational needs and/or disability (SEND). You will be asked to send proof of disability to ensure your place, please this over to shortbreaks@newham.gov.uk A family can have up to 2 adults 4 children. Siblings are welcome. Bookings are limited to 6 per family. Please contact Leonora.featherman@newham.gov.uk directly if more spaces are required. Please only book into TWO sessions. Some of these activities may be specifically for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities, others may be for all children and young people. Often these activities are run by people or groups independent of us. We are with community groups and schools to help make sure that all events and activities are as accessible as possible
