Clip 'n Climb Ipswich offers an exciting indoor climbing experience with 46 unique challenges, including the Vertical Drop Slide, Stairway to Heaven, and Leap of Faith. Our arena is overlooked by a spacious diner and soft play area for younger children. Open to everyone, climbing is a fun, non-competitive activity that builds confidence, resilience, and a sense of achievement. No experience or equipment is needed—our friendly instructors are always on hand to help. Through our HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme, children step out of their comfort zones while developing strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance. More than just exercise, climbing fosters self-confidence and personal growth, inspiring a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Clip ‘n Climb Ipswich is an indoor climbing experience like no other, helping people of all ages to get active, have fun, and socialise! Everyone can climb and reach new heights, no matter your age, fitness ability or previous climbing experience. Boasting 46 different climbing challenges, Clip 'n Climb Ipswich is the first purpose-built facility of its kind in the UK, with the tallest walls in Europe, and has the biggest selection of Clip 'n Climb challenges in the world! You will not leave disappointed! More than just climbing? Overlooking our climbing arena is the Climber Diner, which is the perfect place to watch the action, relax, and enjoy some delicious treats. Don't forget to visit our three-tiered soft play if you have younger children under 7. Clip ‘n Climb Ipswich was created by two local friends called Mark & Josh with the hope of reminding everyone that nothing beats having fun with your family and friends. We live in a world where sometimes forget the importance of having fun, socialising, and creating memories away from screen time. Perfectly positioned just off the A14 with ample, free car parking - easily accessible from anywhere in Suffolk and surrounding areas.
A Typical Session
12:15 - Arrive & Check In 12:30 - Lunch (sandwiches, crisps and vegetables sticks)* 13:00 - Safety briefing & harness fitting 13:30 - Start climbing 14:30 - Refreshment break (slushie drink and cookie) 15:00 - Resume climbing with access to extreme challenges (min. height requirement 120cm) 16:15 - Finish climbing 16:30 - Dinner (pizza and chips)* 17:15 - Finish Total duration - 5 hours *Most dietary requirements can be catered for, please kindly inform us.

What to wear
Climbing equipment is not required by HAF participates - this is all provided by Clip 'n Climb Ipswich. Participants should dress appropriately. Comfortable loose clothing and trainers are recommended, and long hair should be tied back. Open-toed shoes (including flip flops, sandals or crocs), climbing shoes, high heels, and loose jewellery must NOT be worn in the climbing arena, and hooded tops are not recommended – clothing or shoes are not provided by Clip 'n Climb Ipswich. We recommended all participants bring their own water bottle for refilling at the arena water fountain whilst climbing.
