A summary
The event will be a mixture of motivational speakers discussing their own journeys and providing live examples of their success stories combined with advice, guidance and top tips on University, Apprenticeships and Career next steps. Firstly the panel of experts will talk about their varied journeys through their careers and then you will have an opportunity to meet with them to gain deeper understanding and hear more inspirational experiences To ensure a meaningful experience, we are allocating places for 5 students from either Year 11 or Year 12 to each school. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and tickets are expected to be in high demand. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your allocation. The event is fully funded by Redbridge Council and is therefore free for participants to attend. This careers event is part of our Member of Youth Parliament's Manifesto pledges, as well as raising the awareness of food poverty. We kindly ask, that if you are able to, you bring with you a contribution that can be passed on to a Foodbank, such as tinned food, rice or pasta. We look forward to welcoming you at what promises to be an engaging and inspiring afternoon.
