1. What is the Bourne Barbers Holiday Club? Our 4-day barbering holiday club is a hands-on experience where young people can learn the fundamentals of barbering, including barbershop etiquette, customer service, and basic cutting techniques using training dummies. 2. Do I have to attend all four days? No! You can join for just one day or all four—it’s completely flexible. Each session covers different skills, so attending multiple days will give you a fuller experience. 3. What will I learn? You’ll cover barbershop rules, customer service skills, health & safety, and basic barbering techniques like clipper control, sectioning, and fading on training dummies. 4. Do I need to bring any equipment? No, all equipment will be provided. We use professional training dummies and safe tools to ensure a safe learning environment. 5. Is this suitable for complete beginners? Absolutely! Our sessions are designed for all skill levels, whether you’re brand new to barbering or have some experience. 6. Who will be teaching the sessions? Our sessions are led by fully qualified, DBS-checked barbers with years of experience in the industry. 7. Will I be cutting real hair? No, we use professional training dummies to practice techniques safely before progressing to live models in advanced training. 8. What ages is this for? This club is open to young people aged 14-16 who are interested in learning more about barbering. 9. Do I get a certificate at the end? Yes! Everyone who attends receives a certificate of participation to recognise their time and effort. 10. Is lunch provided? Yes, all participants will receive a nutritious lunch and refreshments as part of the session. 11. How do I sign up? You can sign up through our HAF program listing, or contact us directly for more details. Spaces are limited, so book early! 12. Where is the club held? The sessions will take place at: ? 19 Station Street, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN21 4RG 13. What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes as you’ll be standing and working with barbering tools. 14. What if I have additional needs or requirements?
