What we'll do
We like to welcome you to a free Baby massage session for families who have been identified as needing a little bit of extra support by a health visitor, family worker or social worker. You can learn how to calm your baby though touch and is suitable for babies from six weeks to crawlers. It is recommended to join the course after the six week health check. If your baby has a routine immunisation, it is recommended to wait 48 hours before massaging the baby. Baby massage can be particularly beneficial for babies with special needs and is suitable for first-time mums or dads. The Baby Massage Service delivered by Achieving for Children in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) offers a supportive, early-years provision focused on strengthening parent–infant relationships and promoting wellbeing. Delivered by trained practitioners, the service provides a calm and inclusive environment where parents can build confidence, connect with others, and access guidance on their baby’s development. It forms part of a wider family support offer, helping to create strong foundations for emotional, physical, and social development in the earliest stages of life.
