When you arrive
If this is your first time attending our Autism Family Holiday Club.   1) There is free parking but need to make sure you register your car details in the leisure centre foyer for up to four hours. If you do receive a parking fine, we are not responsible to paying the fine. We will have signage to remind you when you sign in. 2) If attending swimming with your SEND Child, please collect wristband when booking in. 3) If your child does require a hot meal, please notify us as soon as you can as this will help us with the orders with the caterer. Autism Family HAF Holiday Club (4 - 16 Years)
A2ndvoice CIC are a not-for-profit organisation supporting the needs of autistic people and their families, raising awareness and understanding from different perspectives. We host a range of activities and events looking at the needs of the family, siblings are welcome but required to pay for a space, if they do not meet the criteria. Supported by Autistic People and Specialists.
A summary
An autism inclusive family holiday programme providing activities held between two venues catering for autistic children and young people, including siblings. Sessions include bouncy castle, swimming for fun (with carer only), adaptive cricket, sensory and messy play, gaming, arts and crafts, food workshops, taster sessions in creative writing and podcasting and priority for those who attend onsite activities at Tooting Leisure Centre and Tooting Works will have priority to attend Clip 'n' Climb Wandsworth and/or Flip Out Croydon. Refreshments and hot healthy meals provided. PLEASE NOTE: We are not a drop off provision. Parents required to stay with their children at all times.

Creative Dancing with MovementWorks - Guided expressive movement to promote body awareness and coordination - Creativity and improvisation to music with repetition

Sensory and Messy Play with Food - Helps children engage with textures, improving sensory procession - Exploring smells and tastes (if they want to) - Strengthens coordination through pulling, squeezing and moulding - Supports language and social skills - Provides calming experience

Enhance physical coordination with inflatable activities. - Bouncy castle improves their motor skills - Improves balance - Parents can participate on the large bouncy castle

Creative writing sessions for siblings - Enhances communication skills - Writing helps to improve vocabulary and grammar - Storytelling abilities - Boast imagination and creativity - Encourages original thinking and self-expression
Why this is useful
If your SEND child has physical disabilities, please let us know so we can adapt any of the activities for them to participate in. If they are wheelchair users, this will help to look at providing adapted activities for them. Such as accessible arts and crafts, musical sessions, tabletop activities, messy play and tactile activities, mindfulness, creative dancing and sensory space.
