What we'll do
Entry for one person to enjoy Ninja Warrior and tea for 12-16 year olds who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals. Giving the 'older young people' some time, space, independence & enrichment away from their younger siblings. This session is funded as part of Milton Keynes City Council Holiday Activities and Food Programme to deliver sessions for school aged children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Spring school holidays in 2025. We will meet up outside Ninja Warrior and parents can then leave or stay and watch. The sessions will be overseen by qualified and DBS-checked coaches & youth workers so we are able to provide some informal mentoring at the same time as having some fun and some good food together! However, the session is classed as 'free play' - so the young person must be responsible for staying safe and injury free during the session. This programme will increase your child's confidence, and their communication skills, as well as their self-esteem and social skills with other young people & adult positive role models.
